Biography
Fa-Hsiang Chang has been teaching Economics at Wenzhou Kean University since Fall 2015. Currently he teaches Introduction of Econometrics, Microeconomics and Macroeconomics for introduction level and intermediate level. Dr. Chang has been an instructor at SUNY Buffalo for three years before joining Wenzhou Kean University. He is an experienced economic professor with diversified teaching skills. To help students be ready to enter the business world, Dr. Chang focuses on training students thinking as an economist and applying the economic knowledge in the real world. His teaching goal is to ensure students have abilities to realize the economic environment, analyze the economic issues, and solving the real world problem by applying economic concepts. Besides, Dr. Chang also provides the solid quantitative training for students’ graduate studies. Dr. Chang’s major research field is international economics and regional development. The core of his research is to analyze the concentration of economic activities which can explain the location strategies of firms, the formations of cities, and the optimal regional development policies. Dr. Chang currently research focus on the industry agglomeration in Wenzhou. Dr. Chang is leading some student researches, and had a great performance on Student Research Day in WKU.
