Biography

Dr. Andalib is an assistant professor at Wenzhou-Kean University. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Irvine. Previously, he served as the Director of the International Trade, Investment & Technology Wing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh.

Research Interests

Dr. Andalib specializes in Industrial Organization, focusing on the interplay between firms, market structures, and their strategies. He delves into how companies compete and cooperate within industries. His research in Regulatory and Competition Economics examines the impact of government policies and regulations on market competition and efficiency, exploring both the benefits and potential drawbacks of regulatory interventions. With a keen interest in Applied Microeconomics and Agricultural Economics, Prof. Andalib applies microeconomic theories to real-world agricultural sectors, analyzing issues such as market dynamics, food policy, and the economic aspects of resource use in agriculture.
