Hitoshi Iwashita

Biography

Dr. Hitoshi Iwashita is a management scholar who specializes in management, organization, and leadership. He earned a Ph.D from Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University, Wales the UK and International MBA from ie Business School, Madrid Spain. As a management consultant. Dr. Hitoshi formerly delivered adviroy services of corporate and business strategy, organizational change, internationalization, and leadership to large Japanese multinational corporations. 

As for teaching, he has taught Organizational Behaviour, Cross Cultural Management, International Management, Strategy, and Leadership at various academic institutions, such as Cardiff Business School (the UK), Globis University (Japan), Kenichi Ohmae Graduate School of Business (Japan), British University Vietnam (Vietnam), Vietnamese-German University (Vietnam), RMIT University Vietnam (Vietnam). 

Research Interest

His research interests lie at the intersection of management, organization, and leadership and those through cross-cultural contexts. Actual topics he currently works on are organizational change, internationalization, historical analysis, time and temporality, emotions, and organizational forgetting, categorization, and organizational imprinting.
