Bloomberg Lab

Bloomberg Lab

Bloomberg Technology is an important tool in the financial industry for conducting market analysis and trading. It provides real-time and historical data for the global market. Currently, more than 70% of investment banks, commercial banks and large financial companies around the world use Bloomberg terminals.

CBPM has 12 Bloomberg Terminals. So far in Mainland China, only a few elite institutions such as the Peking University and Tsinghua University have the Bloomberg Terminals. WKU is the first university in Zhejiang Province that is equipped with Bloomberg Terminals. Bloomberg at CBPM is integrated into classroom teaching, as well as student and faculty research. Students in all majors can use Bloomberg data and analytics to perform various real-world tasks, such as real-time and historical analysis, tracking stocks with forward-looking data, building custom formulas, and conducting mock trading. Students can learn how to analyze financial markets, assess economic scenarios and interpret key developments that impact the global economy.

CBPM became a Bloomberg Experiential Learning Partner (ELP) in Jan 2020. Bloomberg ELP recognizes academic institutions that are leaders in experiential learning through the integration of Bloomberg Terminal exercises in its curricula.
