Institute for Sustainability Studies (ISS)

Mission

To provide a platform for the support of interdisciplinary research on Sustainability/ESG related topics.

Activities include:

  • Connecting and encouraging Sustainability/ESG research by interdisciplinary, interdepartmental, inter-college and inter-campus scholars.
  • Tracking, collecting, promoting, and archiving of Sustainability/ESG related research including publications, projects, conference presentations and related activities by faculty, staff and students.

Initial Goals

The specific goals of ISS for 2022-2023 include supporting Sustainability and ESG related research by:

  • Presenting the related interdisciplinary research of members at Int’l Conferences. A minimum of two per year depending upon funding.
  • Publishing interdisciplinary related research papers in recognized and indexed peer reviewed journals. A minimum of two per year depending upon funding.
