Student Advisory Council (SAC)

The Student Advisory Council is the direct student assistant team of the business college with a mission to actively participate in the development of the college, promote the international recognition of the college, coordinate and handle the affairs of the business college in collaboration with the Dean's office team.

The Student Advisory Council has a rigorous selection process, including student interviews, self-recommendation, referrals, and invitations, recruiting outstanding student leaders to represent the voices, needs, and ideas of students and convey this information to school leadership to promote decision-making that better reflects the actual situation of students.

In daily operations, the Student Advisory Council works closely with the business college to assist in driving various tasks, including maintaining elite accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), which is obtained by less than 6% of business schools worldwide and is crucial to improving the evaluation and quality of the school. In addition, the Student Advisory Council assists the business school in evaluations with US universities to increase the school's international recognition. As the first university in Zhejiang Province equipped with Bloomberg Technology, Wenzhou-Kean University, the Student Advisory Council manages the daily operations of the Bloomberg Financial Lab, helping students improve their data analysis skills, obtain the latest industry information, and has already helped hundreds of students successfully obtain the Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) certificate.

As representatives of the business school, the Student Advisory Council meets with external leaders and important guests to assist them in visiting the business school and providing professional consulting, campus introductions, and professional prospects at school open days and other events primarily for students and parents. The Student Advisory Council actively organizes diverse and influential interactive activities and forums aimed at broadening students' knowledge, providing opportunities to communicate with activity experts and successful people, and helping students accumulate experience and opinions outside the classroom. At the same time, the Student Advisory Council works closely with the Dean's office of the business school to assist in managing the daily operations of teaching, activities, and other areas. In the process of organizing various campus activities, the Student Advisory Council promotes student communication and cooperation, creating a positive academic atmosphere.

The Student Advisory Council plays a key role in promoting the development of the college, enhancing students' academic and career abilities, and enhancing social interaction among students.
