Admission Requirements

1. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
*Applicants, if not graduated from U.S. institutions, must submit a course-by-course evaluation of their official university transcript by National Association of Credit Evaluation Services (NACES) (http://www.naces.org), such as the International Education Evaluation (IEE) or World Education Services (WES) (need to choose course-by-course evaluation).

2. Official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended, cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher (lower GPAs will be considered based on strength of overall application)

3. Submit GMAT or GRE test scores (optional)

4. Two letters of recommendation

5. Professional Resume/CV

6. Personal essay explaining candidate’s interest in the program

7. Official TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo score reports of test taken within the past two years of application

Program Description

The College of Business and Public Management is an AACSB-accredited business school. The Global Management program at Wenzhou-Kean University is a specialized MBA degree program that prepares managers to succeed in a global business environment. It offers a wide and deep selection of global-focused courses, experiences, and training in global business issues. In addition, it has an extensive global experience requirement that sets it apart from other programs. The MBA program provides graduate students with the specialized knowledge and skills necessary to manage multicultural and multinational workforces effectively in a rapidly changing global business environment. Course modules consist of:

The course GMBA 5710 Global Business Travel-Learn offers a 2~4 week trip to Kean University in the United States. Students shall be responsible for the travelling expenses, including visa, air tickets, accommodation, etc. Students may substitute the course with GMBA 5750 Global Consulting Project with approval from the program director.

After a graduate student attempts six (6) total graduate credits as a matriculated student, a 3.0 cumulative GPA must be achieved. Failure to meet this minimum may result in the student being placed on Academic Probation. Upon completion of twelve (12) attempted graduate credits, if a student fails to achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.0, the student may be academically dismissed from the University at the discretion of the program/department. If a student who is on Academic Probation achieves a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, they will be removed from Academic Probation. However, if at any time during subsequent semesters the student falls below a cumulative 3.0 GPA, they will be academically dismissed from the University.

 

Graduation Requirements

The Global Management (M.B.A.) curriculum is comprised of 54 credits. Students who fulfill each course requirement, finish the research project (GMBA 5900) and achieve a grade point average (GPA) no less than 3.0 will be conferred the Master of Business Administration degree of Kean University.
