Biography

Prof. Cagri Onuk did his undergraduate studies at Princeton University where he majored in Electrical Engineering. Towards the end of his undergraduate studies, he came to the realization that studying Finance suited him better than studying Engineering. Therefore, he pursued and earned his PhD in Finance from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management. He worked one year at the University of California Riverside as a Lecturer in Finance. Then he worked at Ohio University as a Visiting Assistant Professor in Finance for three years. During his teaching career in the United States, he taught Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Investments, Financial Markets and Institutions, and International Finance at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
